Two 156,500-ton Tankers Of New Era Shipbuilding Were Respectively Fired And Put Into Operation
On the morning of January 25, 2021, New Era Shipbuilding held the initiation and ignition ceremony in the steel processing workshop. The 33# and 52# 156,500-ton tankers were respectively ignited and the construction officially started.

It is reported that the total length of 33#, 52# 156,500 ton tanker is 274.3 meters, the length between the two columns is 269.9 meters, the width is 48 meters, the depth is 23.2 meters, the design draft is 16 meters, the structure draft is 17.15 meters, the cabin capacity is 173,400 cubic meters, the load capacity is 156,500 tons.
Sentek Global Pte Ltd., a Singaporean ship-owner, is building the first of two 156,500-ton tankers ordered for the new era.Avin International Ltd., a Greek shipowner, built and ordered a 156,500-ton tanker for the new era.
